2. Business activity

Formentera Isla Azul, S.L. rents out recreational boats, with or without a skipper, in the Balearic Islands, and sells used boats from its fleet.

Boat rental is subject to a declaración responsable (a formal declaration of compliance), entered in the Balearic Register of Recreational Boat and Vessel Hire (Decreto 44/2025, de 1 de agosto, the Balearic regulation on recreational boat hire). The competent authority is the Direcció General de Ports i Transport Marítim (Directorate-General for Ports and Maritime Transport) of the Govern de les Illes Balears (Balearic Government). Each boat we rent out displays its registration number on its listing. You can see all of them on Charter registration numbers.

3. Prices

Unless otherwise stated, the prices shown are final and include VAT. Each boat’s listing states what is not included (for example, fuel, skipper or security deposit).

4. Terms of use

Access to this website is free of charge and implies acceptance of this legal notice. Users undertake to make appropriate use of its content and not to use it for unlawful purposes or in any manner contrary to good faith.

5. Intellectual and industrial property

The texts, photographs, logos and other content on this website belong to Formentera Isla Azul, S.L. or to third parties who have authorised their use. They may not be reproduced, distributed or modified without permission, except for personal and private use.

6. Liability and links

We review the information on this website carefully, but it may occasionally contain errors. If you spot one, please let us know and we will correct it. Links to third-party websites (ferry companies, public bodies, social media) are provided for information only; we are not responsible for their content.

7. Complaints

Official complaint forms (hojas de reclamación) issued by the Govern de les Illes Balears are available at our office in La Savina. You may also send us your complaint in writing to reservas@islazulformentera.com. We will give you a proof of receipt and reply as soon as possible, within the time limit set by law. Formentera Isla Azul, S.L. is not a member of any alternative consumer dispute resolution scheme.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence or any other court with jurisdiction under the law.
