When to go

During July and August, the beach can be quite crowded. If you can, visit in June or September: the weather is still excellent and the atmosphere more relaxed.

In the morning, you'll find more space and soft light. In the mid-afternoon, the atmosphere is more lively. And if you enjoy walking, you can take advantage of the proximity to other areas of Migjorn.

How to get there 

You can get there by car, motorcycle, or bicycle. There's parking nearby, although it fills up quickly. You can also walk from other areas along the south coast.

Another different option—and highly recommended—is to arrive from the sea. boat rental in Formentera allows you to anchor in front of the beach, swim to the shore or simply enjoy it from the deck.

Is Es Arenals worth visiting?

Yes, without a doubt. Although it's not a hidden cove or a wild beach, it has that perfect balance between services and natural surroundings. It's comfortable, beautiful, and versatile.
